Please review our FAQs to learn more. \n::: \nFrom the Food Bank Volunteer Office: \nVolunteers like you are essential to our vision of an Oklahoma where no one goes hungry. \nThrough this on-site volunteer experience\, volunteers like you sort\, pack and prepare food for a variety of Regional Food Bank Programs. Activities may include: \n\nAssembling sacks of nutritious food for the Food for Kids Backpack Program\nPacking Commodity Supplemental Food Program boxes full of food for seniors living on fixed incomes\nSorting and packing bread\, produce\, package meals and/or cans\nTagging bags\nCleaning\n\nBecause the Regional Food Bank‘s inventory changes daily\, the Regional Food Bank cannot guarantee volunteers who sign up to work in the Volunteer Center will pack and prepare food for a specific program. \nThe minimum age requirement is 8 years. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. \nAs a reminder\, volunteers will enter through the Volunteer Center entrance\, not the main entrance.
